I come from the jungle is a book of tales based on real stories of wild animals that were removed from their natural habitat.

This edition includes photographs of the real animals that inspired the characters of the book. Fortunately, these animals were rescued and currently live in the three sanctuaries that the Bolivian NGO Comunidad Inti Wara Yassi (CIWY) has in Bolivia.

The main goal of this book is to be a tool to make new generations aware of the damage and suffering caused by wild animal poaching and trafficking, and to help prevent it.
