The book, Automatic Music Transcription using Digital Signal Processing Techniques, was written by Ruben J. Tarquino G. in 2013. By reading this book, it became clear that it focuses on music transcription. In the book, Ruben begins bу pointing out several important music transcription systems. Ruben also talks about the different approaches that those systems use and particularly it focuses on a system that uses Digital Signal Processing techniques. Then the author talks about a system that author himself developed and shows that has great results. Finally, the author summarizes some important advantages of the systems that use a Digital Signal Processing approach.
